Ordered, that the time available to 10:45 a.m. this morning be divided equally among the recognized parties for debate on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 80, An Act to establish Algoma University and to dissolve Algoma University College, following which the Speaker shall put every question necessary to dispose of the motion for Second Reading of Bill 80 without further debate or amendment.

A debate arose on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 80, An Act to establish Algoma University and to dissolve Algoma University College.

Il s'élève un débat sur la motion portant deuxième lecture du projet de loi 80, Loi portant création de l'Université Algoma et dissolution de l'Algoma University College.

After some time, the motion was declared carried and the Bill was accordingly read the second time and Ordered for Third Reading.

I beg to inform the House that, pursuant to Standing Order 97(c), changes have been made to the Order of Precedence on the ballot list for Private Members' Public Business, such that:-

Mr. Kwinter assumes ballot item number 68 and Mr. Ramal assumes ballot item number 32, and;

Mr. Flynn assumes ballot item number 31 and Mr. Brownell assumes ballot item number 76.

That the Standing Committee on Public Accounts be authorized to attend the 29th Annual Conference of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees.

Debate was resumed on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 69, An Act to protect children from second-hand tobacco smoke in motor vehicles by amending the Smoke-Free Ontario Act.

Le débat reprend sur la motion portant deuxième lecture du projet de loi 69, Loi modifiant la Loi favorisant un Ontario sans fumée pour protéger les enfants contre le tabagisme passif dans les véhicules automobiles.

After some time, the motion was declared carried and the Bill was accordingly read the second time and Ordered referred to the Standing Committee on General Government.

Après quelque temps, la motion est déclarée adoptée et en conséquence, ce projet de loi est lu une deuxième fois et renvoyé au Comité permanent des affaires gouvernementales.

Mr. Caplan moved, That the House do now adjourn.

The question, having been put on the motion, was declared carried.
