Do I have to pay to apply?
No, there are no fees to apply to the program.

Who can apply to the Women’s Forum?
Women and gender diverse individuals who are permanent residents of Ontario, between the ages of 18-30, and who have not previously participated in the program may apply.

My permanent address is outside of Ontario, can I apply?
No, only permanent residents of Ontario may apply.

I previously participated in the Women’s Forum. Can I apply again?
No, if you have already participated in the Women's Forum you cannot apply again.

I don't know a lot about politics. Can I still apply?
Yes, absolutely! The goal of the program is to get participants interested in politics, being involved, and community engagement. If you are passionate to learn, we encourage you to apply.

What is the application process?
The applicant must complete and submit an online application, including a response to the long-answer questions. 

How many participants will be chosen?
124 participants will be selected for this program - one per electoral district in Ontario.

When will I know if I have been selected?
Applicants will be contacted in the coming months. All applicants will receive a response.

Will any of my transportation costs to Toronto be covered?
Yes, if you live more than 50 km from Toronto, you will be reimbursed for one return trip from your residence in Ontario to Toronto. Please retain all receipts related to travel costs and consider the most cost effective mode of transportation.

I don’t live near Toronto, where will I stay?
It is the responsibility of each participant to find accommodation while in Toronto.

Will the program be offered in French?
The sessions will take place in English. However, all program staff are bilingual and are able to provide support in either language.
