An Act to establish a

Code of Conduct for the

Premier of Ontario with

respect to the Legislative Assembly

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:

Premier's conduct

1. Any legal requirements governing the conduct of pupils in Ontario schools also apply, with necessary modifications, to the Premier's conduct in the Legislative Assembly.

Commencement

2.This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.

Short title

3.The short title of this Act is the Code of Conduct for the Premier Act, 2000.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Bill provides that any legal requirements governing the conduct of pupils in Ontario schools also apply, with necessary modifications, to the Premier's conduct in the Legislative Assembly.
