Bill 159, Preventing Unethical Puppy Sales Act, 2024

The Standing Committee on Justice Policy will meet to consider Bill 159, An Act to amend the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act, 2019.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, Thursday, May 9, 2024, Monday, May 13, 2024 and Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 159 are required to register by 12:00 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the bill may send a written submission by 7:00 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
