Debate was resumed on the motion for second reading of Bill 126, An Act to amend the Highway Traffic Act and to make consequential amendments to two amending acts.

Le débat reprend sur la motion portant deuxième lecture du projet de loi 126, Loi modifiant le Code de la route et apportant des modifications corrélatives à deux lois modificatives.

At 5:18 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 47(c), the Deputy Speaker interrupted the proceedings and announced that there had been six and one-half hours of debate on Second Reading of Bill 126, An Act to amend the Highway Traffic Act and to make consequential amendments to two amending acts, and that the debate would be deemed adjourned, at which point the Attorney General specified otherwise, whereupon debate continued.

After some time, pursuant to Standing Order 9(a), the motion for the adjournment of the debate was deemed to have been made and carried.
