Bill 58, An Act to provide information to consumers respecting the price of gasoline and the ownership of gasoline retailers and to require certain additional information from major oil companies. Mr. Crozier.

Bill 59, An Act to amend the Ontario Disability Support Program Act, 1997 to require annual cost-of-living adjustments to income support payments. Mr. Martin.

Bill 62, An Act to amend the Police Services Act with respect to the disciplining of police officers and to reinstate a fair and impartial process with respect to public complaints about police officers. Mr. Hampton.

Bill 64, An Act to amend the Health Insurance Act to satisfy the criteria for contribution by the Government of Canada set out in the Canada Health Act. Mr. Duncan.

Ordered, That notwithstanding Order 96(d), the following changes be made to the ballot list for private members' public business:

Mr. Spina and Mr. Wettlaufer exchange places in order of precedence, such that Mr. Spina assumes ballot item number 46, and Mr. Wettlaufer assumes ballot item number 14; and

That notwithstanding Standing Order 96(g) notice for ballot item number 11 be waived.

The House expressed its condolence on the death of Russ H. Ramsay, Member for the Electoral District of Sault Ste. Marie from December 14, 1978 to May 1, 1985.

With unanimous consent, the House observed a moment of silence in respect of the tragic death of OPP Senior Constable Philip Shrive.

A debate arose on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 28, An Act to resolve a labour dispute between The Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association and the Toronto Catholic District School Board and to amend the Education Act and the Provincial Schools Negotiations Act.

Il s'élève un débat sur la motion portant deuxième lecture du projet de loi 28, Loi visant à régler le conflit de travail opposant l'Association des enseignantes et des enseignants catholiques anglo-ontariens et le conseil scolaire de district appelé Toronto Catholic District School Board et modifiant la Loi sur l'éducation et la Loi sur la négociation collective dans les écoles provinciales.

After some time, pursuant to Standing Order 9(a), the motion for the adjournment of the debate was deemed to have been made and carried.

At 6:00 p.m., the question "That this House do now adjourn" was deemed to have been proposed pursuant to Standing Order 37(b).
