I beg to inform the House that vacancies have occurred in the membership of the House by reason of the resignation of John Baird as the Member for the Electoral District of Nepean-Carleton; by reason of the resignation of Marilyn Churley as the Member for the Electoral District of Toronto-Danforth; and by reason of the resignation of Jim Flaherty as the Member for the Electoral District of Whitby-Ajax.

Accordingly, I have issued my warrant to the Chief Election Officer for the issue of writs for by-elections.

That the Order referring Bill 101, An Act to amend the Health Insurance Act, to the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills, standing in the name of Mr. Baird, be discharged and the Bill withdrawn; and

That Private Members' Notice of Motion Number 4, standing in the name of Mr. Baird, be deleted from the Orders and Notices Paper.
