Mr. Hudak - Enquiry of the Ministry - Would the Minister of Finance, in reference to page A4 of the September 28, 2005 edition of the Toronto Star, where the Minister of Finance was reported to have said that the revised 2004/2005 deficit numbers came from $700 million in increased revenue and $700 million from savings, provide a detailed outline, by Ministry and program, as to how this $700 million in savings and $700 million in revenue were calculated. 30. Mr. Hudak - Enquiry of the Ministry - Would the Minister of Finance, in reference to page 2 of the Ontario Liberal Party's Auto Insurance Election Platform entitled "Lower Rates for a Change", which committed that

"Drivers will be able to reduce their premiums by up to an additional 10% if they:

· Choose to have a higher deductible for collision coverage

· Reduce their level of coverage so they're not over-insured when their auto policy is combined with other policies

· No longer carry income replacement insurance that far exceeds their needs - for example, if they are on a fixed income that is not dependant on work",
