Mr. Sterling - Resolution - That, in the opinion of this House, in response to the nearly $30 billion Employment Insurance surplus and to prevent the payroll tax increase currently scheduled for January 1, 2000, the Federal Government must create jobs by reducing job-killing payroll taxes, including the introduction of a significant cut to EI premiums to at least $2 per $100 of insurable earnings.
