An Act to promote
fiscal responsibility
by limiting payments
to consultants

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:

Pay limit

1. No person engaged as a consultant by the Government of Ontario shall be paid more than $100 per day.

Commencement

2. This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.

Short title

3. The short title of this Act is the Consultants Boondoggle Freeze Act, 2002.

The Bill puts a cap of $100 per day on the amount that may be paid to consultants.
