An Act respecting Groves Memorial Community Hospital

Preamble

Groves Memorial Community Hospital has applied for special legislation to repeal the legislation under which it was incorporated, the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2002, as well as the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2022, which amended the incorporating Act with respect to the ownership of certain property. The corporation was continued under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 on December 13, 2024 and the repeals are therefore necessary in order to complete the transition.

It is appropriate to grant the application.

Therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:

Repeal of Acts

1 The following Acts are repealed:

    1.  Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2002.

    2.  Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2022.

Commencement

2 This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.

Short title

3 The short title of this Act is the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Act, 2025.
