Debate was resumed on Government Order Number 4 on the amendment to the motion that this House approves in general the Budgetary Policy of the Government.

Pursuant to Standing Order 58(d), the Acting Speaker (Ms. DiNovo) interrupted the proceedings after 8 hours of debate, and put the question on Mr. Hudak’s amendment to the Budget motion. The Acting Speaker declared her opinion that the Nays had it, and a recorded vote having been demanded, during the ringing of the bells, with unanimous consent the vote was deferred to Wednesday, April 14, 2010.

Ms. Smith moved, That the House do now adjourn.

The question, having been put on the motion, was declared carried.
