The Speaker addressed the House as follows:-

I beg to inform the House that a vacancy has occurred in the membership of the House by reason of the resignation of Cam Jackson as member of the electoral district of Burlington effective September 29, 2006.

Accordingly, I have issued my warrant to the Chief Election Officer for the issue of a writ for a by-election.

I beg to inform the House that I have laid upon the Table the 2005-2006 Annual Report of the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (Sessional Paper No. 270).

Ms. DiNovo and Mr. Bisson exchange places in order of precedence such that Ms. DiNovo assumes ballot item 57 and Mr. Bisson assumes ballot item 77.
