Committee business
The Chair (Ms. Natalia Kusendova): I’d like to call this meeting of the Standing Committee on Social Policy to order. We are here to consider committee process with respect to Bill 202, which was referred to the committee on October 6, 2020.
I believe we have a motion by the government. Go ahead, MPP Harris.
Mr. Mike Harris: I move that the committee enter a closed session for the purpose of organizing committee business and that the broadcasting staff be permitted to remain in the closed session meeting for the purpose of operating the electronic meeting technology, including facilitating the unmuting of members’ microphones.
The Chair (Ms. Natalia Kusendova): Thank you very much. Are members ready to vote? All in favour, please raise your hand or say “aye.” All opposed, please raise your hand. I declare this motion carried.
We will now move into a closed session.
