March 1, 2021
The next time you visit the Ontario Legislature, you will be welcomed inside through our new visitors’ entrance. The entrance opened on March 1, 2021.
Visitors can enter the building just west of the previous main entrance on the south side of the building. There are signs outside to direct you. Public access to the building is currently by appointment only due to COVID-19.
The new entrance enhances the safety and security of visitors, MPPs, and staff by providing airport-style security screening to access the Legislature. Crews began constructing the entrance in July 2019.
There are many reasons to visit the Legislative Building. When the House is sitting, you can watch the proceedings from the public galleries. Or perhaps join one of our tours or programs. You can also present to a committee.
We look forward to welcoming you.
