Standing Orders

The Standing Orders are the rules of procedure used by Ontario's Parliament to regulate its proceedings. A committee of the legislature has the authority to occasionally review the Standing Orders and recommend any changes they think should be made to the House. The Standing Orders may be amended or repealed, or suspended by resolution either temporarily or for a particular purpose.
