A votes search tool is now available on the Legislative Assembly of Ontario website. This tool allows you to see outcomes of recorded votes on bills and motions from the 43rd Parliament to the present.

Use the Keyword field to enter part of a bill title or a motion, or their numbers. You can also view results by parliamentary session.

Select Advanced search for more ways to narrow your search, such as viewing votes that took place within a date range, or votes related to a specific type of bill or motion. You can also choose to see vote results that had a particular outcome (carried or lost).

Select Search to view your search results. You’ll see the vote outcome, the number of votes, the date of the vote, and the bill or motion the vote relates to. Choose the bill or motion to view a breakdown of the vote.

Additionally, you can see how current MPPs voted by viewing their profile pages. In the Activity tab of an MPP’s page, select the Votes heading to view how they voted on bills and motions from the current Parliament and session.
