1. Mr. Arnott — That, in the opinion of this House, recognizing the increasing volume of truck traffic through the Town of Halton Hills, the Minister of Transportation should prioritize the Highway 7 Acton Bypass project by placing it on the Southern Highways Program, the Ministry's five-year investment plan for highway construction for Southern Ontario. Filed September 12, 2016.

2. Mr. Arnott — That, in the opinion of this House, the Minister of Transportation should immediately move forward to fulfill the Government's commitment to provide full day, two way GO train service on the Kitchener Line between Waterloo Region and the GTA with stops in Wellington-Halton Hills. Filed September 12, 2016.

3. Mr. Arnott — That, in the opinion of this House, the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change should ensure that the Permit to Take Water application process continues to be science-based, to provide long-term protection to our ground water resources, and that any new taxes or increase in the fees charged to large volume water users with Permits to Take Water should be substantially shared with the municipalities where the water is being drawn. 4. Mr. Arnott — That, in the opinion of this House, the Attorney General should expedite the long-delayed planning process for a new courthouse in the Region of Halton and commit to a firm date when construction will commence. Filed September 12, 2016.

5. Mr. Arnott — That, in the opinion of this House, the Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development should approve the proposed new Wilfrid Laurier University campus in Milton. Filed September 12, 2016.

6. Mr. Arnott — That in the opinion of this House, after the provincial budget is balanced, the Government should begin paying down the provincial debt by creating a new line item in the budget, committing to making a payment on the principal of the provincial debt of at least 2.5 percent of the program spending of that fiscal year. 1. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change provide precise data on the carbon emissions produced from the construction, installation, and operation of all wind and solar projects approved in Ontario since 2009. September 13, 2016.

2. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of Energy provide precise data on wind and solar installations in Ontario for the past 5 years detailing how many hours they were operational; how many kilowatt hours of energy they produced; and how much was paid out per kilowatt hour to each contract holder, as well as identify how many Industrial Wind Turbines have been curtailed and identify the costs of curtailment. 3. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change specify whether the Ministry will be shutting down the Unifor turbine in Port Elgin permanently as it now contravenes Ontario Regulation 359/09. September 13, 2016.

4. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of Labour please provide data on the number of workplace safety incidents experienced in Ontario at Industrial Wind turbine sites, and outline steps his Ministry has and is taking to implement consistent and province-wide safety standards on Industrial Wind Turbines. 5. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of Education provide a summary of the information gathered through the consultation process on demonstration schools, and confirm if the schools will remain open past the 2016-2017 academic year. September 13, 2016.

6. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of Transportation please outline the protocols and a checklist for the inspection of all oversized loads, and confirm that these protocols and inspections are consistently adhered to in all weigh stations located on the 400 series highways in Ontario. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change please provide a detailed outline of his Ministry's plans to mitigate potential funding gaps for initiatives under the Climate Change Action Plan in light of recent revenue shortfalls in California's cap-and-trade auctions. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change please detail the direction and desired outcomes he has charged to his implementation team to make the needed changes to Ontario Regulation 63/09 workable as they specifically relate to professional pest advisors. 9. Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of Education please outline her Ministry's rationale for eliminating the consideration of community impact when conducting accommodation reviews. September 13, 2016.

Ms. Thompson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Will the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change please provide comprehensive data on how many litres of water are currently being taken from Ontario's fresh water sources, and outline whether his Ministry has caveats in place to protect fresh water sources during times of reduced rainfall.
