NOTICES

SPECIAL DEBATES – OPPOSITION DAY

DÉBATS SPÉCIAUX – JOUR DE L’OPPOSITION

1. Mr. Yakabuski — That the Legislative Assembly of Ontario calls upon the government,

To recognize that the Standing Committee on Justice Policy has been investigating the destruction of documents regarding the cancellation of the Mississauga and Oakville gas plants during the 2011 election. Further, that the committee has not fully completed its investigation, and that the two essential witnesses of the investigation who were named in the Ontario Provincial Police's information to obtain, Peter Faist and Laura Miller, who were originally scheduled to appear at committee before the June election have not yet testified.

Therefore, in order to complete the original mandate of the committee, it is the opinion of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario that the Standing Committee on Justice Policy is able to fulfill its mandate by requiring both Peter Faist and Laura Miller to testify to the committee before report writing commences. Addressed to the Premier. To be debated October 28, 2014.
