ORAL QUESTIONS

QUESTIONS ORALES

The Speaker delivered the following ruling:-

Le Président a rendu la décision suivante :-

In light of the passage of Bill 156, An Act to proclaim the month of January Tamil Heritage Month, I draw Members' attention to the fact that the Opposition Day designated for this afternoon is identically worded to the effective Section of Bill 156.

Standing Order 52 provides that "No motion, or amendment, the subject-matter of which has been decided upon, can be again proposed during the same Session."

I must therefore rule that the motion designating Opposition Day Number 2 is now out of order and may not be proceeded with.

The House recessed at 12:05 p.m.

À 12 h 05, l’Assemblée a suspendu la séance.
