Ordered, That for the purposes of this afternoon's debate on the motion for Third Reading of Bill 65, up to 43 minutes be allotted to each recognized party, and that when the time alloted for debate has expired, the Speaker shall put every question necessary to dispose of the Third Reading stage of the Bill; and

That the Speaker shall then adjourn the House without question put.

 

A debate arose on the motion for Third Reading of Bill 65, An Act respecting mortgage brokerages, lenders and administrators.

After some time, the motion was declared carried and the Bill was accordingly read the third time and was passed.

Debate was resumed on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 158, An Act to revise legislation relating to the public service of Ontario by repealing the Public Service Act, enacting the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006 and the Ontario Provincial Police Collective Bargaining Act, 2006 and making complementary amendments to various Acts and by amending various Acts in respect of the successor rights of certain public servants.
