In the opinion of this House, the Government of Ontario should support the principle of greater accountability for politicians at the municipal level and consult with the Association of Municipalities, and municipalities, on how municipal politicians can be subject to the similar legislated requirements of public disclosure, accountability, and independant investigation with which all Members of the Legislative Assembly and Executive Council currently comply.
