M. Galt propose,

That pursuant to Standing Order 46 and notwithstanding any other Standing Order or Special Order of the House relating to Bill 148, An Act to provide for declarations of death in certain circumstances and to amend the Emergency Plans Act, when Bill 148 is next called as a government order, the Speaker shall put every question necessary to dispose of the third reading stage of the bill without further debate or amendment; and

That, the vote on third reading may, pursuant to Standing Order 28(h), be deferred until the next Sessional day during the Routine Proceeding "Deferred Votes"; and

That, in the case of any division relating to any proceedings on the bill, the division bell shall be limited to five minutes.

With unanimous consent, the following was agreed to with respect to tonight's debate on Bill 195:

That one hour be divided equally among the recognized parties for the purpose of tonight's debate;

At the end of that time, the motion for adjournment of the debate will be deemed to have been made and carried and the Speaker shall adjourn the House;

And for the purposes of Standing Order 46, tonight's debate will be considered one full sessional day.

Debate was resumed on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 195, An Act respecting safe drinking water.
