  • The commission shall report back within eight months to the Speaker. An extension of a further eight months may be granted by the Speaker if deemed necessary;
  • Any portion of the report may be made confidential and such portion shall be transmitted to the Solicitor General;
  • The Commission shall receive funding from the Speaker for the purposes of making such an investigation and report. The Commission may not engage in any activity which may jeopardize any ongoing prosecution of a criminal nature;
  • The Commission may apply to the Speaker for the issuance of Speaker's Warrants to compel evidence.
