Bill 75, Keeping Criminals Behind Bars Act, 2026

The Standing Committee on Justice Policy will meet to consider Bill 75, An Act to enact the Constable Joe MacDonald Public Safety Officers’ Survivors Scholarship Fund Act, 2025 and to amend various other Acts.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 75 are required to register by 4:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the bill may send a written submission by 4:00 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
