An Act to amend the Pembroke and Area Airport Commission Act, 1992
Preamble
The Pembroke and Area Airport Commission has applied for special legislation to amend the Pembroke and Area Airport Commission Act, 1992 to remove outdated provisions from the Act with respect to the disposition of land.
The applicant represents that the Pembroke and Area Airport Commission was established in 1968 and was continued as a body corporate under the Pembroke and Area Airport Commission Act, 1992.
It is appropriate to grant the application.
Therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:
1 Section 2 of the Pembroke and Area Airport Commission Act, 1992 is repealed.
Commencement
2 This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.
Short title
3 The short title of this Act is the Pembroke and Area Airport Commission Act, 2025.
