An Act respecting Pickering College
Preamble
Pickering College has applied for special legislation to repeal An Act respecting The Friends’ Seminary of Ontario, Statutes of Ontario 1917, chapter 103, which incorporated the College, and The Pickering College Act, 1960-61, which amended the 1917 Act.
It is appropriate to grant the application.
Therefore, His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:
1 The following Acts are repealed:
1. An Act respecting The Friends’ Seminary of Ontario, S.O. 1917, c. 103.
2. The Pickering College Act, 1960-61.
Commencement
2 This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.
Short title
3 The short title of this Act is the Pickering College Act, 2025.
