An Act to provide
for the recognition of the
long service of mine rescue personnel
The members of Ontario Mine Rescue respond when a miner is trapped or injured, or fire breaks out in a mine. These highly trained, expert personnel play a vital role in maintaining the safety of Ontario miners. It is important to recognize the many years of service given by members of Ontario Mine Rescue.
Therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:

2.This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.
