An Act to provide for the Observance of

Remembrance Day

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:

Holiday proclaimed

1. Remembrance Day, being November 11 of each year, is a public holiday for the purposes of Part VII of the Employment Standards Act and is a school holiday for the purposes of the Education Act.

2. This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.

Short title

3. The short title of this Act is the Remembrance Day Act, 1995.
