Janet Hendershot is a graduate from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She has been a president of the Ontario Association of Artists, receiving the OSA President’s Award for Service and Artistic Merit in 2013. For 30 years she has painted the “spirit” of landscapes, and her style has only more recently become abstract. She also created a major series depicting an interpretation of the tarot.
Her work is exhibited in the ArtBank, the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, the Gallery Stratford, the University of Toronto, and Baycrest Center.
