Aerial View Looking South – c. early 1930s, 2015

Two contrasting pictures looking south towards downtown Toronto from Ontario's Legislative Building

Noticeably missing from the c. early 1930s photo are the lampposts that now line the pathway from the building to the Sir John A. Macdonald statue. However in the distance you can see the Beaux Arts Canada Life Assurance Building at University Ave. and Queen St., built between 1929-1931, which is now hidden by taller buildings to the north.
