The Legislative Assembly of Ontario's public website has an updated calendar page and home page. The changes provide more details and make it easier to learn about what’s happening at the Legislature.
More information about the House and committees has been added to the calendar and in the "What's on today?" area of the home page. Calendar items for tours and events are now also included on these pages.
Tours and events link to individual tour pages for more details and convenient booking, if registration is required.
Badges have been added to categorize calendar items. A quick glance tells you if a calendar item is for a House sitting, Committee meeting, Tour, or Event.
A red Live badge now displays when the House or committee stream is live, and the label Happening now – Question Period shows when Question Period is in progress. Links to streams of House and committee meetings are still available.
Up to five activities are displayed under “What’s on today?” Select “View all events in the calendar” link to see the full calendar.
The House can be streamed directly on the home page in the new featured video area. When the House is not sitting, this space may display other streams or feature videos from the Legislative Assembly of Ontario’s YouTube channel.
