March 5, 2026

Looking for something fun and free to do this March? Spend the day at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and enjoy hands-on activities, themed tours, and family-friendly programming in the heart of downtown Toronto. Set within the historic Legislative Building at Queen’s Park, there’s something new to discover each week.
March 7: Youth in P-art-liament drop-in event (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Celebrate student creativity as artwork from the Youth in P-art-liament Program is displayed throughout the building. Visitors can take part in art-inspired activities, enjoy a caricature drawing, and join a themed guided tour highlighting the Legislature’s architecture and artwork.
March 14 to 21 (excluding Sundays): March Break family programming
This year’s theme, “Gargoyles, Gryphons, and Guardians,” invites families to discover the mythical creatures watching over the Legislature.
Register for a special two-hour Family Fun Program designed for children ages 6–12 featuring a mock debate, creature-inspired craft, and a scavenger hunt through the building.
Prefer to explore at your own pace? Drop in for a guided tour, enjoy craft activities, browse locally made products in the gift shop, or head outdoors for a self-guided scavenger hunt across the grounds. Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase at the Quorum Café (Monday to Friday).
Fridays in March: themed tours
Join a special themed tour exploring the Remarkable Assembly exhibit and the stories of the women who have helped shape Ontario’s parliamentary history. Every Friday at 12:30 p.m.
Whether you’re discovering student artwork, searching for mythical guardians, or learning about the leaders who shaped Ontario’s democracy, March at the Legislative Assembly offers engaging experiences for all ages.
