Committee business

The Chair (Ms. Laurie Scott): Good morning, everyone. The Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure and Cultural Policy will now come to order. We are joined by staff from legislative research, Hansard, and broadcast and recording.

Please wait until I recognize you before starting to speak and, as always, all comments should go through the Chair. Any questions before we begin?

Seeing none, today’s agenda is committee business. Are there any motions? MPP Rae.

Mr. Matthew Rae: Good morning, Chair. Thank you. I move that the committee enter into closed session for the purposes of organizing committee business.

The Chair (Ms. Laurie Scott): MPP Rae has moved a motion. Any discussion on the motion by MPP Rae?

Interjection.

The Chair (Ms. Laurie Scott): That’s not our department. Next?

Okay, seeing no discussions, are the members ready to vote? All those in favour, please raise your hands. All those opposed, please raise your hands. The motion is carried.

I believe we will just take a couple of minutes—nobody leave the room—so we can go into closed session.

The committee continued in closed session at 0901.
