An Act to amend the Brain Tumour Awareness Month Act, 2001

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, enacts as follows:

   1.  Section 1 of the Brain Tumour Awareness Month Act, 2001 is amended by striking out "The month of October" at the beginning and substituting "The month of May".

Commencement

   2.  This Act comes into force on the day it receives Royal Assent.

Short title

   3.  The short title of this Act is the Brain Tumour Awareness Month Amendment Act, 2016.

 

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Brain Tumour Awareness Month Act, 2001 is amended to proclaim the month of May, rather than October, as Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
