That, in the opinion of this House, the Management Board of Cabinet's Procurement Directive and Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive should be amended to protect the interests of business owners in Ontario, by ensuring that if a construction business that performs work for the government, a government agency or a broader public sector entity willfully or negligently fails to pay a subcontractor or supplier in respect of the work, that business shall be barred from submitting any further bids on, or doing any further work for, the government, government agencies and broader public sector entities until the payment has been made.
