May a student apply on behalf of their choir?
No, applications must be sumitted by the choir director or teacher.

Can bands apply?
No, only choirs are eligible.

Are instruments allowed?
No, groups must perform a cappella.

What are this year's available performance dates?
April 1st, May 6th, June 3rd, September 9th, October 7th, November 4th and December 2nd.

How many students can we bring?
Due to space constraints in the Legislative Chamber, maximum group size is 35.

How long may we perform?
The performance is limited to only the national anthem.

Is there a cost to perform?
No

Will I be contacted if I am not selected?
Yes, all applicants will be contacted by via e-mail.

Can we request a tour of the Legislative Building following our performance?
Yes, a guided tour is available. Tour requests must be made as soon as the performance is confirmed.

What is the required arrival time at the Legislative Building?
Choirs must arrive by 10:00 am to be ready to perform at 10:30 am. The performance time is tied to the Legislature's schedule and cannot be altered.

Is there a holding room for the choir?
Yes, a room will be reserved for the choir. Light snacks are permitted in the room.

May guests come to watch?
Yes, guests may watch from the public galleries. Guests cannot enter the Chamber with the choir and must sign in as members of the public. Please note that passes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis and space is sometimes restricted. Guest should arrive by 10:15 am and may join the tour following the performance if one has been requested.
