The Chair (Ms. Laurie Scott): Good afternoon, everyone. The Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly will now come to order. As a reminder for all members, please wait to be recognized by myself before speaking. All questions and comments will need to go through the Chair.

On the agenda for today’s meeting is committee business. I ask, are there any motions? MPP McDonell.

Mr. Jim McDonell: I move that the committee enter closed session for the purposes of organizing committee business.

The Chair (Ms. Laurie Scott): Any discussions? MPP Burch.

Mr. Jeff Burch: I’d ask that we have a recorded vote, and I’d just say that we are opposed to moving in camera. We don’t see a need to move in camera, and we think that business should be conducted out in the open.

The Chair (Ms. Laurie Scott): Any more discussion? Are the members ready to vote?
